Some of our Middle Caicos Friends
I enjoy Ernest stories of his younger days on Middle Caicos, such as his long hikes to Crossing Place where he waded through the shallow creeks to visit family on North Caicos. He also tells of 1960's Hurricane Donna. When the storm cleared, they didn't know that the eye had passed directly over them so they all walked down to the boat landing to survey the damage. Then the eye passed and the storm caught them out in the open. It took them 3 hours to return to Bambarra, just a mile away.
There are fewer than 300 people that live on Middle Caicos. We know many of them but have only begun to collect their photos. The people on this page are only a few of our friends on Middle Caicos. Because of their professions, they are likely to be some of the first you'll meet there.
No one website can show you everything there is to know about a place like Middle Caicos. So we founded the Middle Caicos WebRing to help you visit other sites dedicated to the island. You'll find many of the vacation villas, local guides and other informational sites on the ring.
